“A Prisoner or Free?”

 

 

But the Scripture has imprisoned everything under sin’s power so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.        Galatians 3:22

 

 

Since the Law could NOT give life, God’s plan for RIGHTEOUSNESS, was carried out by His Only Begotten Son, the SPOTLESS Lamb of the Living God, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who became our ONE and ONLY SACRIFICE for the remission of our sins.  Only through the shed blood of Jesus, are we able to be SET FREE from our sins and able to receive God’s promise of SALVATION.

 

All of mankind is held a prisoner to their sins, and they are under the dominion of sin, until they realize that there is NOTHING they can do on their own, which would provide the PROMISE of SALVATION for them.  In order for them to receive the PROMISE, they MUST give up the idea that they can obtain SALVATION and be SET FREE from the bondage they are under, by their own works.  In order to receive the PROMISE of SALVATION, you must come to God through FAITH in JESUS CHRIST. 

 

You do that by coming to Him with a TRULY REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to God, asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become one, who is NO LONGER a PRISONER, but a FREE PERSON.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
