“The LORD Alone is GOD!”

 

 

My people, you are my witnesses and my chosen servant.  I want you to know me, to trust me, and understand that I alone am God.  I have always been God; there can be no others.        Isaiah 43:10

 

This Scripture is part of a message that God gave to the prophet Isaiah for the nation of Israel, but is VERY applicable to the TRUE CHILDREN of the Living God, today, those who belong to Him through the adoption process, which was provided by God’s Only Begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Like the nation of Israel, we are His people, His witnesses, and collectively and individually His chosen servant.  He has gifted each of us with different abilities in order to SERVE Him.

 

In order to be an effective witness, there are a few things we need to possess.  (1) We need to KNOW Him, personally and intimately, and to be able to do that, will take spending some QUALITY, ALONE time with Him, studying intently about Him and His ways.   (2) We need to TRUST Him, submissively giving ourselves, TOTALLY to Him with complete abandonment in ALL that we have and ALL that we are.   (3) We need to UNDERSTAND exactly who He is.  He is GOD ALONE, there is NO other like Him, there NEVER has been nor NEVER will be.  He is the ONE and ONLY GOD.  When we come to that UNDERSTANDING, we will then be able to COMPLETELY KNOW, TRUST and UNDERSTAND that HE is the LORD GOD ALONE.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are NOT a TRUE CHILD of His.  You are His creation, but NOT His Child, and you cannot be a witness or chosen servant until you come to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become a TRUE Child, a witness and a chosen servant of the ONE and ONLY Living God.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
