“Mercy and Grace”

 

 

But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead  in transgressions---it is by grace you have been saved.        Ephesians 2:4-5

 

 

First, let us talk about God’s RICH MERCY.  Mankind, being born with a sinful nature, goes against the RIGHTEOUS GOD’S plan for mankind to become RIGHTEOUS as He is RIGHTEOUS.  Mankind sins against the HOLY, RIGHTEOUS God and is disobedient to Him, turning away from God and His RIGHTEOUSNESS, and embracing the sin.  It is the creation rebelling against its Creator.  Yet God, because of His GREAT LOVE, has MERCY on SINFUL mankind.  Meaning that God does NOT give mankind the punishment they deserve, when they come to Him for their SALVATION---This is MERCY.

 

Now, let us talk about God’s AMAZING GRACE.  Instead of, God pointing His finger at mankind and zapping us into oblivion, He KNOWS our weaknesses and our helplessness, our inability to make our own self RIGHTEOUS, and thus provides His RIGHTEOUSNESS for us through the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE of His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shed His blood, to cleanse us from ALL our sins.  He gives us what we DON’T DESERVE---This is GRACE.

 

And because of God’s GREAT LOVE for the Crown of His Creation, He has MERCY on it, and refrains from giving us the punishment we deserve, yet gives us what we don’t deserve, which is His AMAZING GRACE. 

 

So if you have NOT come to God, with a TRULY REPENTANT HEART, experiencing His GREAT LOVE, and being a recipient of His RICH MERCY, and ACCEPTING His AMAZING GRACE, then you are headed for Hell, the place of torture, torment, agony, heartache and pain.  A place where there is NO escape, you will be there throughout eternity.  However, because of God’s GREAT LOVE, RICH MERCY, and AMAZING GRACE, you have the opportunity to turn away from your sins and become RIGHTEOUS as He is RIGHTEOUS by:  CONFESSING your sins to Him, and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and become His RIGHTEOUS CHILD, who has been SAVED from the penalty of their sins and given ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN, because of God’s GREAT LOVE, RICH MERCY and His AMAZING GRACE.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
