The Ultimate Worship Service

 

 

Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels around the throne, and the four living creatures, and the elders.  There were thousands and thousands of angels, saying in a loud voice:  “The Lamb who was killed is worthy to receive power, wealth, wisdom, and strength, honor, glory, and praise!”

Then I heard all creatures in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea saying: 

“To the One who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever.” 

The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders bowed down and worshiped.--------Revelation 5:11-14

 

 

I have to say that we have some pretty awesome worship services at our church, but reading this passage of Scripture, gives me a clear indication that none of the worship services ANYWHERE can come close to comparing with THIS worship service.

 

I can’t imagine hearing the voices of THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of angels nor can I imagine, even to the very best of my imagination, the scene of this GREAT and AWESOME worship service.  Being in the very throne room of the Great I Am is beyond imagination.

 

And then the words spoken by the THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of God’s majestic, regal, angels saying in a LOUD voice: 

“The Lamb who was killed is worthy to receive power, wealth, wisdom, and strength, honor, glory, and praise!”

This would get ANY old, dried-up Christian to shouting, “HALLELUJAH!” to the top of their lungs.  And then when you add ALL the creatures in heaven and earth and under the earth and in the sea saying:

“To the One who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever.” 

Well I’m sure that throne room erupts in SHOUTS, HAND-WAVING, JUMPING AND DANCING AROUND in PRAISE and HONOR to the KING of kings and the LORD of lords, and to FATHER GOD ALMIGHTY!!!  And then it settles down with the four living creatures saying, “Amen!” and the elders bowing down and worshiping.  What a time that will be.  And to think that this is, more than likely, what the Child of God will be experiencing most of their time in Heaven.

 

Sadly to say, if you have not given your HEART and LIFE to God, you will NOT be celebrating and worshiping the RISEN LAMB, who is WORTHY of ALL our worship and praise.  Instead you will be in anguish, torment and hopelessness in that place called Hell for ALL of eternity, but you can change that destination by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and be a part of that AWESOME, EXCITING, VIBRANT, worship and praise time for ALL eternity.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!
