"HELP!"

“HELP!”

 

 

Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.   Psalm 124:8

 

 

We are living in such treacherous and perilous times, and I sometimes wonder if it can get much worse.  The depravity of mankind’s mind, and the sins that it evokes is sometimes inconceivable.  We see so much evil and wickedness that brings about heartache and despair.  Yet some people seem to cling to the wickedness and use it as a means to get what their evil hearts want, at any cost. 

 

The Prophet Isaiah gives us a warning:  “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.”  (Isa. 5:20)

 

The Bible tells us that ‘lawlessness’ is at work in our world today (2Thess. 2:7).  We live in lawless societies, where our law enforcement is reluctant to carry out their duties to protect our communities because of the attacks and condemnation they face day to day.

 

We are threatened by terror attacks from those who seek to destroy our way of life, by stripping us of our God-given freedoms.  I understand, from news reports, that we now have terrorist in EVERY state. 

 

Our election date is closing in, and we are all wondering and pondering who we should vote for.  Who can we TRUST to protect us, and our way of life?  Who can provide a safe and secure future for our children and grandchildren?  Who can restore our dignity among the other nations?  Who can bring prosperity and good health to our economy?  Who has our best interest at heart?  WHO?  Our SCRIPTURE has the answer to ALL these questions:  “Our HELP is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”  When we, TRUE BELIEVERS, EARNESTLY call upon the Creator of this Universe, to HELP us make the BEST, WISEST, choice, He will HEAR and RESPOND, because of His GREAT LOVE and AMAZING GRACE.  We can make a BIG change, come November, by SEEKING the counsel of the ALMIGHTY GOD.   The question is will you FOLLOW His leadership?

 

If you are NOT a TRUE BELIEVER, then you are rebelling against God and His laws, and you are gambling with your destiny.  However God is giving you the opportunity to escape the HORRORS of an eternity in Hell, with NO ESCAPE, by coming to Him with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and HELP us SEEK God’s MERCY and GRACE for our ONCE GREAT NATION.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
