“The Everlasting Light”

 

 

The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.  Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.         Isaiah 60:19-20

 

This is a message for Israel, from the Prophet Isaiah, concerning ZION, the dwelling place of God’s people during the Millennial Reign of the Lord Jesus Christ.    What a GLORIOUS place it will be.  The walls of the city will be called SALVATION and the gates PRAISE. 

 

There will be no more violence, nor ruin or destruction within its borders.  The Holy God will make PEACE the GOVERNOR, and WELL-BEING the RULER. He will make His people the EVERLASTING PRIDE, and the JOY of ALL generations.  And they will KNOW that He is their LORD, and SAVIOR, REDEEMER, and the MIGHTY ONE of Jacob.

 

The sun will no longer be their light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on them, because the Lord will be their EVERLASTING LIGHT, and their God will be their glory.  Their sun will NEVER set again, and the light of the moon will not grow dim anymore; because the Lord will be their EVERLASTING LIGHT, and they will no longer suffer days of sorrow. 

 

What a GLORIOUS time that will be!!  Are you READY?  Have you given your HEART and LIFE to God?  If NOT, then you aren’t READY. And will face an ETERNITY in Hell.  But you can get READY by:  Coming to God with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let GOD be your EVERLASTING LIGHT.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
