If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.  You know the way to where I am going.”  “Lord,” Thomas said, “we don’t know where You are going.  How can we know the way?”  Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.        John 14:3-6

 

Jesus was preparing His disciples for His departure from this earth.  He was preparing them for something very monumental.  He would be leaving them soon, and going away to prepare a place for them, but He PROMISED to come back and take them away with Him.  Notice that He didn’t say, “I might come back,” but He said, “I WILL come back.”  He was assuring them of His return.  And He wasn’t referring to His resurrection, but to the RAPTURE, which is yet to take place, but we, who are TRUE BELIEVERS, are looking for this climatic event to take place ANY TIME, now.  Are you ready?

 

Thomas, one of Jesus’ disciples, asked Him, “Lord, we don’t know where You are going.  How can we know the way?”  Jesus answered Thomas with a statement that gives us the PURE, UNDILUTED, TRUTH of the ONLY POSSIBLE MEANS of getting to the Father, He said:  “I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.  NO ONE comes to the Father except through ME.” 

 

In other words, there is NO OTHER WAY to come to the Almighty God, except through the SHED BLOOD of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  You MUST come to the cross of Jesus, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART, CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU!  And is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT God’s gift of SALVATION, and BE READY for His RETURN, so that you might have an eternity with GOD the FATHER and His SON, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Do it NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
