The Time of Judgment

 

 

God says:  “At the time that I appoint I will judge with equity.  When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars.”  But it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.--------Psalm 75:2,3,7

 

 

There IS coming a day of reckoning.  When the Almighty Judge of this world will bring judgment and condemnation.  This passage of Scripture tells us “at the set time,” that He has appointed.  No one knows when that time will be, except the Almighty Judge, Himself.  But the important thing to keep in mind is:  IT IS COMING!

 

In this passage He states that He will judge with equity.  In other words, He will judge with fairness and justice.  Nevertheless, He WILL judge.  The wicked, those who have rejected Christ and His work on the Cross, and have been their own person, doing their own thing and leaving God out of their lives, WILL be judged for their sins and will be condemned to an eternity in the Lake of fire.

 

Those who have given their lives to Christ and accepted His work on the cross, and have sought after God and have strived to live a life that is pleasing to Almighty God and belong to the Family of God, their WORKS will be judged.  And they will spend an eternity in Heaven.

 

The Scripture tells us that it will come when the earth totters, and all its inhabitants.  I believe that this is speaking about the very end of this age, after the millennium reign of Christ.  When the devil will be judged along with all of His collaborators, and will be sentenced to an eternity in the Lake of fire with the rest of the wicked. 

 

And it is God ALONE, who is ABLE to steady the pillars of this earth, at a time of war, the likes of which has NEVER been.  A war between the King of Kings and the king of this sin-ridden world. The battle will be SWIFT and FINAL. 

 

Verse seven says: But it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another, those who He will put DOWN are those who have rejected His gift of salvation. And those He will lift UP are those who are TRULY His Children and have accepted Him and His gift of salvation.  The question is on which side are you?

 

If you have NEVER given your HEART and LIFE to Christ, then you will be put DOWN and will receive His judgment of an ETERNITY in the Lake of fire that is void of ANYTHING good, but is nothing but, heartache, turmoil, misery, torture, and pain.  However, you can be on the winning side and turn away from the doomed judgment of the wicked by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be lifted up by Almighty God to an ETERNITY in Heaven.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!
