Who Knows God’s Thoughts and Ways?

 

 

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge!  How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions and His ways!

For who can know the Lord’s thoughts?  Who knows enough to give Him advice?

And who has given Him so much that He needs to pay it back? 

For everything comes from Him and exists by His power and is intended for His glory.  All glory to Him forever!  Amen.--------Romans 11:33-36

 

 

It is amazing to me, how some people think they know the mind of God.  I have heard, time and time again that, “If God was a loving God why would He allow this to happen?”  Well, God is a loving God and we don’t know God’s thoughts or understand His ways, but it is up to us to accept by faith that He is LOVING and COMPASSIONATE.  If He wasn’t, a lot of people wouldn’t still be here, with more time to get themselves right with Him. 

 

The Bible tells us about God’s nature and His attributes, but NOBODY knows His thoughts or ways.  We can’t possibly put ourselves on the same level as God.  His ways or NOT our ways and His thoughts are NOT our thoughts.  Since He is an ALL-KNOWING, ALL-POWERFUL, and EVERYWHERE at the SAMETIME God we NEED to TRUST His thoughts and ways, because He KNOWS the big picture.  He KNOWS what is BEST for us when we don’t realize what is lying ahead of us that would change our destiny. 

 

God is in control, He is not taken by surprise, He doesn’t pace and wring His hands wondering what is coming next.  He KNOWS and He KNEW before the creation of this earth.  Why He allows things to happen the way they do is beyond our comprehension, because we can’t see the BIG picture.  But we can TRUST the One, who has SEEN and KNOWS ALL things.  And He sure doesn’t need the advice of mankind. 

 

EVERYTHING that exists comes from Him and is intended for His glory!  EVERYTHING good that we have or have had or hope to have comes by His power, and is given to us by His mercy and grace, because He is a LOVING FATHER, who wants to provide for His Children.  The BEST that He has provided for mankind has been the ADOPTION of mankind into His family.  This is done through the death, burial and resurrection of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ.  The ONLY ONE worthy to carry out this act of sacrifice for ALL mankind.

 

If you have NEVER accepted His offer of adoption into His family, you can come to Him now and  start the adoption process by:  CONFESSING your sins to Him and asking for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!
