We Harvest What We Plant!

We Harvest Whatever We Plant!

Don’t be misled---you cannot mock the justice of God.  You will always harvest what you plant.  Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature.  But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.--------Galatians 6:7-8

Some people think that if they are “saved,” that it gives them a license to sin.  Because their sin is forgiven anyway so what does it matter.  They believe they can live any way they want and God will look the other way and still pour out His blessings upon them.  Well I mean to tell them that “God’s righteousness will not be ‘mocked’.  They better check their salvation and make sure that they gave God their HEART and not just their MIND.

A TRUE, BONIFIDE CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD, will not WANT to sin.  Their desire will be to please God and not themselves.  This passage of God’s Word says:  “Those who live only to their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature.  A person who lives only according to their lustful, selfish, sinful desires will reap whatever they plant.  They cannot continue to live in sin and expect God to look the other way and then reward them for living according to their flesh.  He would never put His Only Begotten Son through the horrible pain and agony of that old rugged cross to give anyone the license to sin.  Repentance is the ‘turning away’ from our sins and ‘turning to’ God.  It’s NOT staying in our sin and continuing to practice sin, and to have the audacity to flaunt it in God’s face.  When a person lives like that their fruit is not conducive to the TRUE Fruit of the Spirit.  So they are destined to reap what unconfessed sin brings about in the harvest of their life, DECAY and DEATH.

However, those who live to please the Spirit of the Living God will harvest everlasting life.  Because their desire is to live for God and not for their own selfish, sinful, lustful desires.  When a TRUE Child of God sins, they are convicted of their sin and should confess their sin to God with a TRUE REPENTANT heart.  They will strive to LIVE for Him and NOT for themselves.  They will learn His ways and STRIVE to live according to His precepts.  They are not, by any means perfect, but their TRUE REPENTANCE and the work of the Holy Spirit within them will lead them to a harvest of eternal life with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

What is your harvest looking like?  Have you been living according to your own lustful, sinful, selfish life, thinking that God has given you a license to sin and will bless you in spite of your willingness to live after the flesh?  You are MISLED, because God is NOT MOCKED and you are treading on very thin ice.  But you are given an opportunity to REPENT and REAP a harvest of eternal life, in Heaven with God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  You can do this by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION.  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!
