"This is the Way. Walk in it!"

“This is the Way.  Walk in it!”

 

 

…The Lord is waiting to show you mercy, and is rising up to show you compassion, for the Lord is a just God.  All who wait patiently for Him are happy.  And whenever you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you:  “This is the way.  Walk in it.”--------Isaiah 30:18, 21

 

The Prophet Isaiah penned these words that are directed to the nation of Israel, but it is a message for God’s Children today. 

 

God deals with the heart of mankind by the wooing of His Spirit in their heart and drawing them to Himself. He waits for us to come to Him to show us His mercy and His compassion for the redemption of our souls. 

 

We can therefore, TRUST in Him, because He is a righteous and just God.  And when we WAIT patiently for Him to answer our prayers or to open a door for us, we can be happy and content in KNOWING that He will respond. 

 

 When He puts us on the path that He desires for us to take, whether it is to the right or to the left, He guides our steps, with that still small voice, commanding us:  “This is the way.  Walk in it.”

 

And when we are obedient to Him and follow His guidance we will be content in KNOWING that He is in control and we can TRUST in Him, no matter what path we are on He will be with us through our journey if we will OBEY His command: “This is the way.  Walk in it!”

 

If you have never given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you are probably wandering aimlessly along some dangerous path with no direction or with the wrong direction.  But you can be put on the RIGHT path by:  CONFESSING your sins to God and asking Him for His FORGIVENESS, BELIEVING, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU and is ALIVE, in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God, then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and KNOW that “This is the way.  Walk in it!”  Do it NOW, while you STILL can.  He’s waiting!!!
