"False Claims"

“False Claims”

 

If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.  But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son, purifies us from all sin.  If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His word is not in us.        1 John 1:6-10

 

The Apostle John, is speaking to believers, those who have given their HEARTS and LIVES to God. But they are WALKING or LIVING in DARKNESS still, and yet they CLAIM to have FELLOWSHIP with the ALMIGHTY GOD.  This is LIVING a LIE, and does NOT have a trace of TRUTH, in the CLAIM, thus it is a FALSE CLAIM.

 

 If we WALK or LIVE in the LIGHT as God is in the LIGHT, because there is NO DARKNESS in Him, we then can have FELLOWSHIP with Him and Him with us.  And we can be PURIFIED by the BLOOD of His Son, Jesus Christ, and be FORGIVEN of ALL our sins.  Now, we NEED to be very CAREFUL, and NOT CLAIM to be WITHOUT sin, if we CLAIM to be without sin, we DECEIVE ourselves and the TRUTH is NOT in us, and we have just made another FALSE CLAIM. 

 

Because we are in the FLESH, we fail God, and NEED to CONFESS our sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS DAILY!!  When one WALKS or LIVES according to the flesh, their minds are set on what the FLESH desires, and the mind that is governed by the flesh is DEATH, (Spiritual), but if it is governed by the Spirit it is LIFE and PEACE, EVERLASTING.  If you are WALKING or LIVING in the realm of the FLESH (Darkness) you cannot PLEASE God, and you cannot have FELLOWSHIP with Him.   As a Child of God, if you are walking in the DARKNESS, you will face God’s JUST DISCIPLINE, and are at risk of losing your REWARDS.   Those who are TRUE BELIEVERS, have CRUCIFIED the FLESH with its PASSIONS and DESIRES.  Since the Spirit of the LIVING GOD indwells EVERY TRUE BELIEVER, they SHOULD STRIVE to LIVE by the SPIRIT and STRIVE to KEEP in step with the HOLY SPIRIT of God.  When they do this, they can ENJOY the TRUE FELLOWSHIP with God, and NOT be making FALSE CLAIMS, which holds NO TRUTH.

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, then you definitely CANNOT have any kind of FELLOWSHIP with Him.  And you are headed for an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY OF ESCAPE.  This is NOT what God wants for YOU, and He is WILLING to FORGIVE you of ALL your sins, if you will TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle (the DARKNESS) and TURN TO GOD, (the LIGHT), with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS, because He is FAITHFUL and JUST to FORGIVE you.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION and an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS.  And DON’T be GUILTY of making any FALSE CLAIMS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
