“The FAITHFUL Guide”

 

For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end.     Psalm 48:14

 

In the time and place, in which we presently reside, we are vulnerable to take the WRONG path, and make the WRONG choices in our lives.  Sometimes we suffer because of the path and choices we make.  Usually, it is because we don’t have the PROPER GUIDE to LEAD us into the UNKNOWN.  When you become a Child of God, you will have the PROPER GUIDE, who is FAITHFUL to the END of time.

 

Psalm 23:3 says: “He GUIDES me along the RIGHT PATHS for His name sake.”  This is a REASSURING promise.  We can have that ASSURANCE of being on the RIGHT PATH, if we have the same attitude as the Psalmist in Psalm 25:5, who says:  “GUIDE me in Your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my HOPE is in you all day long.  We MUST TRUST God for His FAITHFUL GUIDANCE.

 

He is our STRONGHOLD when we are in need of PROTECTION.  We can DEPEND on His GUIDANCE to LEAD us to SAFETY, and to a SOUNDNESS of MIND and HEART.  Psalm 31:3 tells us: “Since You are my Rock and my Fortress, for the sake of Your name LEAD and GUIDE me.  The Psalmist TRUSTED in God to LEAD and GUIDE them to a place of SAFETY, because He is their ROCK and FORTRESS in a time of trouble, God was their ONLY HOPE.

 

Putting your FULL TRUST in God, can sometimes be a struggle, because of being in the flesh.  And we are drawn away from God and drawn to another human being, who also is in the flesh, to give us guidance.  But this type of guidance is FLAWED at its best, and tends to LEAD us down the WRONG PATH or causes us to make some BAD choices that will alter our lives and sometimes even our ETERNITY.  The Psalmist in Psalm 73:24 says: “You GUIDE me with Your counsel, and afterward you will take me into GLORY.”   Is God your FAITHFUL GUIDE?  Or are you putting your HOPE and TRUST in another, just like you.  Are you taking chances with your ETERNITY?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, then you do not have Him as your FAITHFUL GUIDE, and will end up spending ALL of your ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY of ESCAPE.  In order to ESCAPE this kind of destiny, you MUST be willing to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO God, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and let Him be your FAITHFUL GUIDE to the END, and then take you to GLORY.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
