“Fully Alive!”

    

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.  All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts.  Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.  But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions---it is by grace you have been saved.       Ephesians 2:1-5

 

Whenever a person comes to the age of accountability, where they KNOW that they are a SINNER in NEED of a SAVIOR, but they have REJECTED Jesus Christ and His gift of SALVATION many times, because they are comfortable with their sinful lifestyle, they are DEAD in their TRANSGRESSIONS and SINS.  This is a SPIRITUAL DEATH, which means they are SEPARATED from God and they have NO COMMUNICATION with Him.  Yet there is HOPE!

 

Even though they are FOLLOWING the ways of this OLD, SINFUL world and are being RULED by the RULER of the kingdom of the air. And they are DOOMED to spend ALL of ETERNITY in Hell, with ALL its HORRORS, because of their DISOBEDIENCE to God and His RIGHTEOUSNESS.  God has a PLAN for those who are SPIRITUALLY DEAD. It is a PLAN that will bring them into being SPIRITUALLY ALIVE, and having HEAVEN, with ALL its BLESSINGS, as their ETERNAL HOME.

 

We ALL, at one time were SPIRITUALLY DEAD, and DESERVING of God’s wrath.  We too lived, gratifying the cravings of our FLESH, and we followed its DESIRES and THOUGHTS.  But because of God’s GREAT LOVE and RICH MERCY, He made us FULLY ALIVE in CHRIST JESUS, even when we were DEAD in our TRANSGRESSIONS, it is by GRACE that WE can be SAVED, and made FULLY ALIVE.   Are you SPIRITUALLY DEAD and on your way to an ETERNITY in HELL, with NO WAY of ESCAPE?

 

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to God, but are FOLLOWING Satan’s plans, and living in DISOBEDIENCE, then HELL, with ALL its HORRORS is your DESTINATION, and you are SPIRITUALLY DEAD.  But you can be made FULLY ALIVE if you will TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  You MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in HEAVEN, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  You MUST ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be made FULLY ALIVE in CHRIST JESUS, with an ETERNITY in HEAVEN and ALL its BLESSINGS.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
