“Woe to the Sinful Nation”

 

Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption!  They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on Him.        Isaiah 1:4

For the nation or kingdom that will not serve You will perish; it will be utterly ruined.           Isaiah 60:12

 

A nation is made up of people, and it is the people who make the nation what it is.  It will be a nation that will EITHER follow the laws and statutes of the Almighty God or one that will follow the wants and desires of SINFUL mankind.  It is up to those who are able to VOTE for people who they believe will provide SOUND, PRODUCTIVE, GUIDANCE, and will NOT push their UNGODLY agendas down the throats of the people.  These agendas may sound beneficial to the people, but MOST are HARMFUL and ONLY brings MISERY and DESPAIR.  They are NOT of God, and will bring WOE to the NATION who allows these SINFUL people to hold office and to bring their UNGODLY, SINFUL, agendas upon the nation.

 

Generally, when this happens, it is because the people have FORSAKEN the Lord God and have REJECTED His LEADERSHIP and GUIDANCE.  The nation then becomes a cesspool of CORRUPTION, WICKEDNESS, DEPRAVITY and SELFISH AMBITION, which is carried out by the brood of EVILDOERS.   They have COMPLETELY REJECTED the Lord Jesus Christ and have put themselves or other EVILDOERS on the throne and giving them the POWER to RULE and RUIN the nation that has turned their back on the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  What will happen to a nation that has FALLEN into this situation?

 

The Word of God, in Isaiah tells us:  “For the nation or kingdom that will NOT serve You (God), will PERISH; it will be UTTERLY RUINED.”  Is this the FUTURE you want for YOUR nation?  Or do you want to have the LEADERSHIP that will have YOUR BEST INTEREST at HEART, and will FOLLOW God’s GUIDANCE, securing a SOUND, STEADFAST, PRODUCTIVE, and BLESSED NATION?  It is up to YOU.  PRAY, PRAY, PRAY and VOTE your CONVICTIONS.  

 

REMEMBER, a nation is made up of PEOPLE, and it is the PEOPLE who determine the type of nation you will have.  Psalm 33:12 says: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He chose for His inheritance.”  If your HEART is like those who are CORRUPT, WICKED, DEPRAVED, SELFISH and EVIL, you NEED a SAVIOR, One who is ABLE to DELIVER you from that CESSPOOL and set your feet on a SOLID PATH towards an ETERNITY in HEAVEN, and to be able to ESCAPE an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS.  You NEED to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD, with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then you MUST BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that Jesus died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  Then you MUST CONFESS your sins to Him and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  Then ACCEPT His gift of SALVATION, and be a part of your nation receiving a BLESSING instead of a CURSE.  Do this NOW while you still can.  He’s waiting and coming SOON!!!
